Apache

Start apache and serve the current directory.

docker run --rm -it -p8080:80 -v $(pwd):/usr/local/apache2/htdocs httpd

Portainer

sudo docker run --privileged=true -d -p 8000:8000 -p 9000:9000 --name=portainer --restart=always -v /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock -v portainer_data:/data portainer/portainer-ce

zsh function to run docker one-liners

Add the following to your ~/.zshrc file. This has the ability to specify port and directory. On macOS it will also open a web browser to localhost.

	dir=$PWD
	if [ -n "$4" ]; then
		if [ -d "/$4" ]; then
			dir=$4
		else

Change to the directory you want to be the site root and then run this.

apache

To specify a port

apache 8180

To specify a port and directory

apache 8180 $PWD/Sites
